Easter eggs of GTA V: Discover the secrets of Los Santos
GTA V is one of the most popular games of all time and one of the things it’s well known for is the “easter eggs”.
Playing Grand Theft Auto you can discover various hidden things spots and references to other games of the producer company Rockstar Games.
If you want to know where to look for “easter eggs” in Grand Theft Auto V, check below a list we’ve created with some of them:
The ghost of Mount Gordo
Go to the summit of Mount Gordo and wait. Between 23:00 and 0:00, you’ll be able to see a ghost hovering above a bloodstain message. The ghost is supposed to be John “Jock” Cranley’s wife.
Jesse Pinkman’s head
In GTA you can often detect references to movies and TV series. One of them is a painted face you can find on a side of Mount Chiliad. The face is believed to be Breaking Bad’s Jesse Pinkman.
References to GTA 4
As we mentioned earlier, GTA V contains a lot of references to other games of the same company, so there was no chance for Rockstar not to include “easter eggs” for previous GTAs as well. Specifically, in the game, you will be able to spot plenty of references to GTA IV. For example, Nico Belic is mentioned by Lester as “some Eastern European guy”, Marnie Allen, and “The Lost” biker gang appear, and there is a graffiti welcoming the players back to the game.
Alien in the river
One of the “easter eggs” you can discover just after starting the game is this alien. Driving towards the train tracks in the prologue, go down the right side of the hill and head across the frozen river. When you’re under the bridge look under the ice and you will see a frozen alien.
UFO
By detecting this “easter egg” you can discover how the alien made it to Los Santos. At the northern edge of the map, take a submarine and find a crashed UFO lying at the bottom of the sea.
Sea beast skeleton
The alien’s UFO is not the only thing you will spot underwater in Los Santos. At the eastern edge of the map, at the bottom of the sea, you can see a creepy huge skeleton belonging probably to a giant sea creature.
